Samples of Fall: To Aru Kagaku no Railgun

Project Railgun

A big MAYBE for me…

Impressions

Chaser

I’m not a fan of the To Aru Majutsu no Index series. Granted, I was intrigued by the first chapter but after reading some more, it wasn’t as good as I’d thought it’ll be. This was around the same time the anime was released. I gave the first episode a try and frankly, there wasn’t enough in there to keep me watching. Now its spin-off gets animated and… I’m liking it so far.

Humble Little Chest

Seductive Humility

Breaking

I’ve read what’s available in manga and I can say that, unlike Index, Railgun is centralized around Mikoto. There shouldn’t be any episode without her in it. She’ll be involved in each and every development. In fact, I really want to see one of the battles that will happen near the end of the series.

Uiharu

However, like Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, the problem is… I’ve already experienced it. I know what’s going to happen and how things are going to end. This is the kind of series that doesn’t have a strong rewatch value. Hence, I’ll probably skip some episodes in favor for the more action-packed scenes.

Stepping in now

Railgun

Overall, it’ll hold the same score as The Sacred Blacksmith, 7. A great start to a good series. However, since I already have some background, I’m not as interested. In addition, I despise J.C. Staff.
