Kimi no Iru Machi – Chapter 13

It’s Time to Leave School

Unlike Haruto, Narumi doesn’t hold back anything when it comes to love.

Brief Summary

After hearing Narumi’s challenge, Haruto gets worried and wonders if Kanzaki’s brother was serious or joking around. However, on the ride back home, he asked Yuzuki what she thought of the senior.

The next day, Takashi noted that Akari’s happier than usual. He also told Haruto that Narumi interrogated him about who his crush was. Now, Narumi knows that Haruto likes his younger sister. Though threatened by his childhood friend, Takashi fears Narumi’s wrath more since he’s always serious.

After school, Haruto was waiting for Yuzuki when, to his surprise, Nanami showed up instead.

Talking for a bit, Haruto realized that Narumi had set up this opportunity for him. His opinion of the Kanzaki brother completely reversed.

Narumi also helped Haruto clear up the misunderstanding that Nanami made, thinking that he and Yuzuki were an item.

However, Narumi didn’t do all that for free. He was making his own move elsewhere.

Impressions

FINALLY!!! Things start to get rolling. I was getting tired of the slow pace it had developed in recent chapters. Though I didn’t like Narumi in the last chapter review, I changed my mind. He seems to be serious though whether or not he’s pursuing Yuzuki for love is still unknown. But being so assertive so quick? Definitely going to make things a lot more interesting.

That one page of Nanami showing up exhausted and apologizing for being late… she’s just too cute. Really happy that she got more panel-time in this chapter. I hope to see more of her… and possibly taking on a more important role in Haruto’s life :)

One Response

  1. I rather liked Narumi, and was a tad disappointed that he didn’t get more panel-time throughout the series.
