Double Date Plan
Synchronized… to blame each other…
Before their double date could get started, Akari lectured Haruto and Yuzuki not to have too much fun. After all, the only reason they’re here was to help her get closer to Narumi. But all that changed when Kanzaki’s brother showed up… and strict attitude Akari had was replaced by that of a shy schoolgirl in love.

When the four got to the campgrounds, Haruto first tried to pair Akari and Narumi up so that they could spend time together. However, the other guy had different ideas and split the group by gender. However, the task of lighting a fire was enough for one person so Narumi wandered off. For the girl’s side, Yuzuki consoled Akari by telling her to go since she could handle things there by herself.

Just when Akari left, Narumi showed up and chatted with Yuzuki. As for the poor girl, she winded up finding Haruto but no Narumi. Returning back, Akari fell into despair since her attempts to get closer were failing one after another.

Seeing their friend’s heartbroken expression, Haruto and Yuzuki started to blame each other… almost forgetting about Akari.

But when they turned around… the situation changed drastically.
When the two guys were alone, Haruto tried to push things further by asking Narumi if he liked Akari. The senior flat-out denied any notion of that idea.

Getting angry, Haruto was about to argue more when Narumi threw the same question back at him, asking why Haruto was acting the same way with Yuzuki. But by claiming that they’re nothing more than a pseudo-family…

Narumi decided that Yuzuki’s heart was fair game for him to win.
Ok… looks like the everythings getting a lot more complicated… which is why I made this handy thing.
Narumi proved more devious and cunning than I thought. He knew that Akari liked him and upon seeing her spirits down, he cheered her up. He’s not as oblivious to female affections as say… Haruto. But with Narumi also going after Yuzuki, it might ruin the friendship that the group had, turning Yuzuki and Akari into love rivals and both had/want to have a relationship with Haruto. As for Nanami, I’m not too sure since she had no panel-time and I really think her role needs to be bolstered… For the past few chapters, there’s been little to no attention given to her, surprising since she’s one of the main romantic interests.
Overall, I really sympathized with Akari since I’ve been in her position once… only instead of being a shy blushing schoolgirl, I was a shy can’t-look-her-in-the-eye schoolboy. However, what made me feel even more sorry for her was that Narumi knew of her feelings… and decided to go after Yuzuki. He could potentially ruin everything… all because of a whim. I don’t think he really “loves” Yuzuki. If he did, I would cheer for him. “Love conquers all” but that depends on whose perspective… the lovers or those around them?
