Double Arts – Chapter 22

Double Arts

Dancing in the rain~

Brief Summary

So it turned out the bald noble guy was nothing more than just talk. In fact, he doesn’t even fight. Instead, his lackeys load up a medieval rocket battery while he just says “FIRE!”. Worthless…

After the dust settled, their targets were still standing, untouched by anything.

Another round was launched but the Kiri/Elle duo danced their way to safety.

Elle realizes that Kiri’s reading her every move and that she could read his. But maybe they could read more than that… maybe… feelings?

When the fight finally started, Sui looked at all the potential targets… and found one that made her grin.

The baldy was getting more and more angry, willing to fire upon his own men. However, the reloading took a bit too long and when he turned around, he found the reason why. Sui.

Impressions

Meh. The execution of the “Double Arts” was great at the start… when they just danced without using the commands. But in the latter half, when they explained what moves they’re using… not so good. I’m getting a tad worried that the series might turn out to be more… shounen… than it already is. If it starts getting to “OMG WALTZ POWERUP!!!”, this might be dropped.

Otherwise, I just lol-ed at the bald guy who’s so worthless. And he smells. But I’m glad that Sui was the one to take him down… since she’s sadistic enough to push him off the ledge. As for Kiri/Elle, their relationship is definitely going to develop more… but there’s one piece still missing. Andie Frau! Where is she?! :(

  1. I was (shall I say too?) stoked about what they were going to do, so I was slightly disappointed with the entire fight scene. Still good, but just not THAT good.

  2. It was ok on the whole… but if they get to waltz+flamenco combos… DROPPED.
