Bitter Virgin – Chapter 26

Her, in My Dreams

Just… wow… Daisuke and Aikawa’s relationship just went to the next level!

Brief Summary

Izumi makes the announcement to go back to Tokyo. Surprised by his sister’s decision, he wondered if it was because of her talk with Aikawa yesterday.

Seeing his eyes on her, Izumi mentioned that the burden Aikawa carries is too much for him to handle… but he might be able to in the future.

In school, Yuzu wonders what she should do with Aikawa’s secret. Before learning about it, she would’ve help the girl get closer with Daisuke since he obviously likes her and Kazuki would eventually be removed from view. However… now that she heard about the pregnancy, Yuzu’s not too sure.

Deciding to take action, she stormed forward to have a word with Daisuke… only to be beaten by Kazuki and her crazy obsessive ways. Knowing that it’s personal information, she opted to tell only Daisuke.

Watching from nearby, Yuzu wished that Aikawa picked someone other than Daisuke to fall in love with.

Then she witnessed Aikawa go into a panic attack after a guy brushed by her in the hallway. Helping her back up, Yuzu realized that Aikawa may not be so impure as she thought she was.

After that happened, Aikawa stumbled upon Daisuke napping outside, tired from his escape from Kazuki. When he woke up, he saw Aikawa staring at him… so he thought it was a dream.

However, he quickly realized that it wasn’t… but only after confessing his love for her.

Impressions

Oh… My… GAWD!!! The most romantic moment that I was waiting for… just ruined by dream confession! RAGE!!!

Disregarding that, Aikawa’s reaction and how she was throughout this chapter was nothing but cute. Though Izumi said at the very beginning that Daisuke may be able to help bear Aikawa’s burden, the amount of time he had to prepare was so very short. However, I have confidence that he’ll pull through.

As for Kazuki… I agree with Yuzu. He’s too kind to cut her off and that’s going to hurt him later on. She’s not the kind that will listen to reason, evident by how she tried to set him up for alleged rape. I wouldn’t be too surprised if she attempted to kill Aikawa in the next chapter… and come close to succeeding.

While reading the first half, I though Yuzu had converted to the Dark Side. Then, after “saving” Aikawa from a potential fall, there seems to be hope. She’s not acting on impulse and her reaction so far is very calm. Hopefully, she’ll hear the full story and side with Aikawa again.

  1. Ah I just finished reading chapter 26 today. Its a rather boring chapter but I was rather happy to hear Kazuki confessing to Aikawa though it was a dream. Moving on to the next chapter. XD.
