Awesome spy skills… For Puppy not Sakura!!!

Shedding more light upon the mysterious Code Breaker organization…

Brief Summary

Sakura was doing her typical (horrible) stalking job when she was stopped again… this time by police officers.

She kept struggling… until she realized just where he went…

Inside the National Diet building, Oogami entered an empty assembly hall… or so it seemed at first. At the front of the room, three figures were hidden in the shadows. They welcomed him into Eden, the highest authority of the Code Breaker organization.

Meanwhile, Sakura was about to head back home… when Oogami’s words got to her. Using Puppy as a decoy, she leapt over the guards. She was about to get away when the lights came on and several people wearing suits surrounded her.

Being in trouble (and worthless without Oogami around), Sakura despaired until a new character stepped in.

Back inside, the officials briefly went over the Code Breaker organization, noting that Oogami was the sixth and last one to be instated.

Dismissing his threats, Oogami’s employers gave him a new target, some politician by the name of Shibata Shigeru.

After receiving the message, he attacked them… only to find dolls.

Just as he was leaving… he discovered the spies. Getting mad, he was about to roughen Sakura up when the new character intruded again.

Hearing the comment about killing his own parents, Oogami rushed in to attack… only to be held off by one hand. Using the blue flames, Toki (Code Breaker #4) coolly lit a cigarette and said that he’s looking forward to being Oogami’s partner.

Impressions

Oogami already looks bad ass enough… and then we have Toki, who is even more bad ass than Oogami. That part where he lit the cigarette from Oogami’s flames was just pure… epic. This more than made up for Sakura’s continued blunders… from stalking to spying. Seriously, Puppy played an equal or better role for both situations. The author must really dislike Sakura… or maybe Code Breakers are just extremely overpowered in comparison to a martial arts “expert”… (not).

As Toki mentioned, Oogami seemed to have killed his parents. Whether or not it’s due to him carrying out justice or his unintentional use of his powers is unknown. However, Toki seemed to play a big role whatever the reason was… since Oogami is very hostile to him. Because of that, I’m leaning toward the latter… thinking that Toki somehow made Oogami kill them. But, as usual, only the next chapter could tell… or continue to give hints where this is going…

  1. There’s more plot development than action for this episode and now we know, there are 6 code breakers! I wonder who the other 4 are. It’s a little shocking to know that Oogami killed his parents; maybe it’s the circumstances or something. >.<

  2. I might be going too far… but this is my guess.

Toki was supposed to off Oogami’s parents, chosen by Eden to be the next targets. However, upon meeting the younger Oogami, he awakens the boy’s blue flame. At the same time, the flames (probably unable to be controlled at that moment) killed his parents so Oogami technically killed them… and it would explain his hatred of Toki.

Well, next chapter might tell us if my hypothesis is correct or not…
