The next challenge… A soft-spoken librarian…
At the start, Keima wasn’t feeling well since he ate too much of Elsee’s cake. Blaming her for not knowing enough about human society, he asked the demon if she even studied the Japanese culture? It turned out that she did, becoming a professor even… but that was several hundred years ago.
Determined to improve herself, she decided to go to the library to do more research… and the first thing she gets interested in are fire trucks.
Wanting to find more books about them, Elsee went to the librarian.
Though having problems talking with each other at first, the librarian eventually told her to return after school.

Elsee was about to leave… when her spirit sensor went off! Hearing the alarm, the librarian told her to quiet down :)
Elsee returned after school, bringing Keima along. Though accepting his fate to make real girls fall in love with him, he complained about how boring games are with the “librarian”-type girl.
Before he could question her about mentioning fire trucks, the librarian appeared… with a cart… of 458 books, each having something to do with fire trucks in them.

Hearing Keima speak about the library’s great searching ability, the girl was about to correct him… but failed to do so, too afraid of making herself look weird.

The stage is now set. Only the next chapter could tell happens next.
The series has redeemed more of itself. More or less, it’s due to the new character being so cute.
But it still worries me for keeping its episodic nature… or should I emphasize, its perfect episodic nature. There hasn’t been any failures yet and each girl had earned three chapters of their own. The first one would be the introduction. The second is Keima applying his magic before some cliffhanger end… where he fixes his glasses and says “Just as planned”. The third reveals why everything falls into place. Not that I’m complaining about its direction right now. It’s still too early to put it off as the romance version of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures. But if the series were to prove anything more, to have a deeper plot, there needs to changes.
