Taking a short break from reviews, I would like to go over what I consider to be one of the most important part of any series… The openings and endings.
Title: Namida no Mukou (Across from the Tears) Artist: Stereo Pony
After experiencing the group’s work on a BleachED, I figured that it’ll be an instant favorite, or something decent at the very least. Unfortunately… the vocals don’t match the animation at all. Very disappointing.

I watched this episode RAW so there isn’t much that I could say about it. Animation is as symbolic as ever, if not more so. The music is wonderful as expected from Tenmon. The only one fault I could find… is that the girl(s) don’t seem as cute as Chihiro… That’s a high standard to reach so it’s forgivable with just episode 1 and RAW nonetheless. On the bright side, there’s a nekomimi so it should be playful and lighthearted at the start. However, there is a focus on masks and a forced laugh at the end of the episode so emotions may run high very soon.
This is the kind of series where development is key and it’s expected to be slow. Plenty of time to amaze me even more. :)
Sort of continuing from a previous post, I thought for a bit and figured to ask for your opinions about another set of anime OP/ED. This time, they’re both in English.
Finally finished, all of the series that I’m keeping up with have been reviewed. The titles that are not mentioned here were the ones that I’ve dropped after watching an episode or two. Among them are Vampire Knight, Kanokon, and Kaiba. Without further ado, here are the final results.
Presenting the last Kokuun’s Spring 2008Anime OP/ED Review
It’s been a long project that’s taken 11 posts in total and about a week’s worth of work to do. Nonetheless, I’m still glad that I finished this and look forward to doing something else that is fun and entertaining. One more post with the final tally…
